With the Maltese summer kicking in with a bang many of us will definitely look forward to enjoying some time by the sea. Among the usual options of a game of soccer, game of cards, or just lazing around sunbathing or reading a book, why not inventing a beach workout? You can also include family or friends in a friendly competition to spice things up a bit.
This is a great full body workout and will definitely make your heart beat and burn a ton of calories. Do the workout before enjoying your bbq sausages and beer!
100 metre Swim or 200 metre run
10 pushups
20 alternating leg raises
100 metre Swim or 200 metre run
10 squats
20 situps
100 metre Swim or 200 metre run
10 Pike Pushups
20 bicycle kicks
100 metre Swim or 200 metre run
20 burpees
100 metre Swim or 200 metre run
If you think that the workout might be too much start with only two parts of the workout and maybe next time you can add a section of the workout and gradually work up until you can complete the whole workout. Then start working out on improving the completion time! Should you feel the workout is too easy, try increasing the repetitions of the exercises or doing two rounds of the workout.
